1983 70 HP Evinrude power tilt/trim diagram

I have a 83 70 hp Evinrude that does not have a power tnt. I am considering changing over to a power tnt off a 87 Johnson 115. Will the tnt off the 115 work on the 83 70 hp? Also, where can I find a diagram of the hydraulic actuator unit? Curious as how the valves inside the actuator work?

There was no 115 hp in 1987 so you need to clarify exactly what the donor motor is before going any further.

You may be interested in the factory exploded parts diagrams at this website: epc.brp.com. You can usually find wiring diagrams that are close- embedded in the first thread at the top of this web page, called "top secret files." Likely the unit will fit. Finding a place to mount the power trim control box will be interesting.

I was guessing the year of the 115. I took the power trim unit off an engine I had many years ago. I believe I can get it mounted properly. Thanks for the info.
