Hello again. I have a 98 fast strike 150. j150glecd. I'm going through the carbs again and having problems with one of them hanging up a little. When I got the boat, the needle clips were on the side of the float. My mechanic told me they should be on the middle for my motor.that is where they are now. I was wanting an opinion from someone here on iboats. Should they be clipped on the middle or side of the float? Thanks.

The middle so they can stay centered as the float bobs. Depending how big the clips is having it on the side would pull it that way ever so slightly causing it to hang up.

?????--------The clip goes on the float valve pin.------Then slides over the float from the side.-------Very simple and not sure why the confusion.
