Hey there, i just bought a old 55 hp evinrude triumph off an old timer but the badge is missing off the transom bracket that shows serial and part #, wonderin if anyone else can help me ID this motor (other #'s or part #'s?)? Want to get the proper breakdown so i can get to rewiring etc... Thanks.

The 3 cylinder 55 hp was only marketed in 68 and 69..--In 1970 the same motor was 60 hp.

Where the electrical cable plugs into the motor---1968 had a rectangular plastic plug, 1969 has a big round rubber plug. Only made two years, so has to be one or the other.
