1958 Johnson FD 12

New to boats and motors, received a Johnson. Am looking for serial locations to start, after a little research, think the motor is the FD 12 not sure

Should be an ID plate on the transom clamp

Does it have the original paint? 1958 had white sides on the hood, with Holiday bronze (red) trim. A popular model because it is so pretty.
