2002 Johnson (Suzuki) 15 hp 4 stroke

I have a 2002 Johnson 15 hp 4 stroke which is the transition year motor built by Suzuki for Johnson. Have disconnected spark plug wires & uncertain which wire goes to which spark plug. Didn't mark them of course. Is it top coil wire to top spark plug or? Having other running issues so neither of the two choices seems to help.

Generally the top coil goes to the top plug.------But on most small 4 strokes it does not matter as both coils fire at the same time anyway.
