2015, 3.5 Tohatsu

Hey, New here. Has anyone hooked a remote fuel tank up for a 3.5 Tohatsu?

Welcome to Iboats,

Can't use a remote tank besides internal 1.75 Ltr one, unless you hang one higher than engine and or on top engine and connect a fuel hose direct to carb. If possible doing so will need to install a fuel filter and a fuel valve between extra tank and carb, bear in mind that 3.5 Ob's doesn't have a fuel pump, gravity does all the fuel intake to carb. Post whatever crazy idea you end with, love innovative crazy ideas myself.

Well, that's the issue about not specifying if yours is a 2 or 4 stroke engine as the 2 strokes is currently still being manufactured in Japan. In that case try a 3.0 gal Tohatsu fuel tank and connect end hose (without connector/ direct to fuel pump and check if with sufficient power to suck fuel from a remote lower tank, if not, will need to place it over the tank and check if that works. What's the issue, don't like re filling tank while boating ?
