My boat partner just sent me this picture from our boat (I'm out of the country). At first I thought it was a bonding wire, but in the close-up it appears to be a rubber hose with a metal pipe inside. It is broken, and I'm wondering if it part of the cooling system or what it might be. Once I know what it is, I'm hoping to be able to find it on a parts schematic to see what is involved in replacing it. Thanks in advance for your help. Motor is a 2011 BF225

That is just pitot tubing for the speedometer. If you don't have the speedometer hooked to the end that comes out the front of the cowling I wouldn't worry about it

The part you have broken there is just a plastic coupler, most marinas and just about any auto parts store should be able to help you out with the part
