1999 130HP Honda

I went to see the Honda today. 170psi #1 170psi#2 120psi#3 and 150psi#4 so I choses not to take it right now. I wonder what could be the caused if any of you guys knows anything about Honda's 130HP 1999
the recall about the heads and all was done last years. and he claims they have not used it since
any idea???

A leak down test is the next step, will give you a lot more information. I am not a big fan of compression tests on these motors because there are so many variables that can throw off them numbers. Leak down will be more precise and easier to pinpoint if there are any problems.

Those are really good but heavy motors. Ive seen them on commercial boats with 12000 hours. Just make sure they shop that did the repair is reputable and will stand behind their repairs even though its a new owner.
