1986 Nissan 55 hp are they any good? Or to say worth messing with?

I am looking for an outboard engine for a boat I am going to build so my options are open in the 50-75 HP range. A 1986 Nissan 55 HP Popped up but I know nothing about them. And when I did a search I did not find anything to talk about. Such as Parts availability,reliability and so on and so forth? Are they even worth looking into or stick with Evenrude/Johnson?
