ignition switch and safety switch question

my engine wont turn over when i turn the key but i can pull start it first pull with key on of course can i bypass the safety in igniton just to check and make sure. how do i do that because i took it apart and pulled the 2 wires off of the safety and it still wont start maybe it is the ignition

What make/model? When did it last work properly? Has anything changed since it did work? Is the neutral safety engaged? Which 2 wires did you disconnect? Have you tested the start circuit of the key switch?
