Honda 225 lower unit removal

I about to remove the lower unit on my honda 225. Looking for any advice. I guess it should be pretty staight forward.
Just remove the bolts and let in slide down. Anything i should be aware of. Should the motor be placed in gear or just neutral?

Just leave it neutral. If the unit hasn't been removed in a while you may need to budge it with a rubber mallet. Do not hit the flares towards the top because they are very soft ad will bend. Get an extra pair of hands to reinstall as it will make the job tons easier.
