Hello all ive got a 2006 bf 20 which wont run properly when idling, it starts fine from cold then once warmed up runs slighly lumpy which gets worse and stalls when you move throttle to just more than idle bit more throttle and its runs fine. Any ideas might it be something to do with the cold start.

cheers john

Did you have that trouble after winterizing? I had something similar last year.

The solution was:
- start with choke on
- carefully go to wot (not trivial)
- stay there for 1 minute. Choke off quickly. This should clean the winterizing oil from the main air intake (the cylinders inertia will suck the oil).

It seems that choke is not really a "choke" but a "enrichener" (second "air & gas" intake to carb), and it may happen that your main air intake is blocked with winterizing oil - but not the "enrichener" air intake. That's why it starts with choke on and stalls when choke off.

Good luck and give feedback.
