Hello,
I have a tohatsu M70B motor that runs fine when I bypass the starter solenoid. I however cannot get the control box to start the motor.I have the main wiring harness plugged into the motor as well as the battery leads connected to proper battery terminals. The control box has a set of red, black, white and green wires coming out of the box that are not connected to anything.
My question is what are these wires purpose and can this be a reason for the motor not cranking over?
Thanks,
JC

Re: Tohatsu Remote Control

I figured the problem out. The fuse that goes to the starter solenoid was disconnected. I connected it and motor turned on, choked and turned off!..
