What year/HP lower units will fit Tohatsu 2003 90hp TLDI? I need a spare....

Dont ask why LOL....just one of those things and need to know what year make/model whatever i need for lower unit that will fit for a 2003 Tohatsu TLDI 90 HP. Please advise what crosses over....thanks in advance.

Year means nothing. What is your precise model? Is it a 90B? The same gearcase fits MD70B (and 75) through MD115 models.

I see....Well i went to check and its a 90B....i will have to find similar.

Dangit....I have a good line on a M120A cheap....just wanted for the LU but guess thats out...thanks.

is there any way to tell the case letter without the model number? i have found a couple lower units but they are off the motor and no way to get back to the model number.....

I have a 90B .... found a couple 90 lower units but how can i determine if they will fit???

One clue would be color. if they are not the modern, almost-black, "aquamarine blue", they may pre-date the TLDI series. In that situation, they do not fit.

Mine is a 2003 so it is that grey color.
One of them is grey...the other is a blue like the nissan...

Blue is ancient. Not a TLDI.
