My old motor runs fine, but the plastic arm from the roller that rides the throttle cam to the carb linkage broke. Does anyone have this part? Any ideas?
If the plastic arm is same as pic, you can order from any Tohatsu dealer, assume Paul will gladly collaborate helping you. The only way to break that arm would be excesive pin roller wear due to non proper lubrication or cam/roller over actuation at wot. Readjust rod height if needed. Part is : 3M2031720M.
Maybe I have the wrong engine model #. Mine looks like that in reverse-the arm goes to the port side. My cam seems different too. The part may work. I will try to attach my part explosion (This is my first time on iboats). Thanks

Verify model and serial. The M18 came with different carbs, depending on serial. You may find that the arm you need is a part of the long-obsolete carb. If so, that arm is made of "unobtainium".
