Nissan ns90 water pump issue

I have a 91 ns90a with a strange problem. The drive shaft spins inside of the impeller. This is the second time. I have replaced the water pump kit. Has anyone else had this issue?? Of course this really wallows out the impeller nylon lining. Is there a harder version out there. The impeller fingers look like new, I micked the shaft and it measures 20mm. Any ideas??

Does the 90 HP uses a key or a needle type to lock shaft against impeller ?

It has a key, and nissanoutboardparts.com could not supply one so I ourchased one at the local hardware store, but the results was the same. This is the second impeller that has the inside wallowed out but the fingers are like new.I never ad a issue with the pump until the bottom end was worked on, so I assumed they used the wrong key.

Buy Tohatsu same HP model spare part if current available, why buy something that's not original and proven not to work same.

No doubt that shop lost the correct key. Then the incorrect one was substituted, and it wrecked the hub of the impeller. Now you have a wrecked impeller. The correct key is 3B7650220M IMPELLER KEY $9.63, available from any dealer, including me.

I will do that, the nissan warehouse is 3 miles from my house but will not sell to me. Do you happen to know thw part number for the impeller??
