Hello every one.

I've been a member of this for quite some time now but never posted before. Aside from other projects that am currently under taking, i've got this Honda 7.5 hp two stroke that fires right up, but only fires one spark plug. i've tested out "not sure if this is correct way" by taking out one spark plug at a time and pulling crank cord. One gave a hell of a jolt , the other did very little:confused:.
It also floods with fuel at the carb. I'm assuming this is unused fuel, so i'd rather not use it since it covers everything and spills overboard. Any suggestions would be of great help. i'd really hate to take it to a shop and spend more than what its worth in repairs.

Check plug's ignition coils, could be 2 single or 1 double. With a mutimeter place 1 lead at each plug contact, other to ground, if good will read continuity, if shorted will read nothing. If carb is flooding and spilling overboard, probably have a stucked carb needle at carb bowl. Dismantle carb and check inside bowl.

Happy Boating
