I am trying to determine the exact year of a Honda BF15A I just purchased. The number on the side of the motor is BAAS 1100322. I have searched the Internet but can't find the year. although I think it is late 1980's.
I was also wondering what other people's experience was with the stock 9" X 9" prop. I am putting the motor on a Lund SV16 and thought I might go with a finer pitch prop for better power with a load in the boat and slower trolling speed. Is the stock prop fine?
Any recommendations on a good value prop for the money would also be welcome.
