Lower unit gear oil draing plug stuck on 115 Honda

Hi, I just got thru servicing my honda and went to change the lower unit oil and couldn't remove the lower screw with a pretty good size screw driver. I haven't ran across this before on other engines I have and I haven't messed up the screw yet so thought I'd post here for suggestions. Anyone ever run accross that probelm and if so how did you go about it?

There is a tool called an Impact Driver that can work very well for removing stuck screws. Most tool supply stores will carry them for maybe $20. It's a heavy duty screwdriver that you tap on with a hammer, has a helix inside that helps turn the screw as you tap. Good Luck!

I agree with robert, the impact screw driver is an awesome tool for stuff like this. Since you use it with a hammer, almost all the force from the hammer blow keeps the screw driver bit on the screw. Keeps it from slipping out.
