Hello.
I used to buy NGK DR7EA plugs for my motor but our hardware store doesn't carry them any more but has DR8EA plugs. Can I use them instead?

Thanks for any replies.

I use DR7EA-NGK on my 2001-25hp Honda which my manual says to use. Most auto part stores carry them. Don't know about using DR8EA's though. You might want to maybe clean your current plugs and use until you get some new ones.

Thanks pscrabber. That's what I will do 'till I find the right ones.

You can use them, 7 must be hotter compare to 8 being colder, being so close in number, 8 will foul faster at idle...should have no problems when cruising or wotting. It's the same issue when comparing/using NGK B7HS-10 to B8HS-10 on small engines
