Honda 9.9 lower unit oil type question

Heres a question for you oil experts out there. My 9.9 is about 5 yrs old 4 stroke. I need to change my lower unit oil. Honda recommends hypoid 90 sae 90 but I can only find hypoid 90 sae 80-90. Will it matter? Its not easy to find that stuff. Thanks in advance

Hi, you can safely use sae 80-90.These is a range of operation much the same like instead of sigle grade 30w motor oil now we use 10w30 or other multi grade.
