Nissan 18hp,oil light problem

Just changed oil in my 18 hp.Replaced filter w/fram ph6607.When I started motor,oil light is on and will not go out.Have had occasion on startup when light would stay on but go out on restart.Now light is on all the time.Could changing oil cause this?I have checked ground from sending unit.Also I just installed remote control and went to lake&everything was fine.Problem just arose after oil change.NEED HELP

An oil change wouldn't effect it. But, it is possible that a tiny bit of debris could be trapped in the sensor or maybe the engine is ready to blow up Do yourself a favor and run it by a dealer for a check up.
