As always, for servicing a Tohatsu/Nissan OB, year of manufacture is unimportant, but precise model/serial is critical. You are looking at an M40C, probably from in the mid-1990's, so it's probably 15+ years old. If you are curious as to the exact year of manufacture, call Tohatsu at 214-420-6440 and they may have records. As for value, you need to check it over before deciding, as condition is everything. What is the compression? How does it run? How well does it pump water out of the telltale? What is the service history? Was it properly "winterized" before being put "in mothballs"?
