Hi I have a to tohatsu m30a4 that I need a starter for.could any one suggest a starter other that 34676010 it cost about 400$s .will another one fit and work ?
Not that will last. That Hitachi starter will go 20 years versus a cheapo aftermarket starter that might last three years. Japanese starters are built to a much higher abuse standard than our stuff. But, if you do go the cheap route, I think API has some in the $150.00 range.
