connecting a tohatsu trim sender to a faria trim meter

Hi All ....

so Id like to connect a tohatsu trim sender to a faria trim meter.

the sender has pink, orange, light green and black wires, the trim meter has grnd, ignition light, and sender connections only

does anyone know which of the 4 wires off the trim sender must i connect to the meter pls??
are the sender/gauge compatible at all ?

Which sender? There have been a couple over the years.

What Paul said plus, the chances that the throw of the sender will match up to the perfectly to the gauge is not on your side. It might be usable, but........

what do u need to know from the sender pls? a picture or the part number ?

so whats the solution to have a working sender pls?
can i use any brand trim meter or does it have to be a particular type?

Use the factory equipment or probably be off on the reading. The stuff isn't adjustable.
