non repair question-honda 7.5 4 stroke

Hi, my friends that are using super quiet large 4 stroke outboards for trolling are out fishing me and my super noisy 2 stroke. I am looking to buy a older honda 1970-1980s 4 stroke kicker motor to troll with. Can anyone please tell me how quiet these motors are compared to a moderen 4 stroke of the same size? I am looking at used 7.5hp hondas online. Thanks I appreciate the help.

ps- are parts still avaiable for these outboards, like belts?

Honda did not enter the American market untill the mid 70,s.CDI units were introduced a few years later and that 7.5,100,and 8a have changed very little since then.Make sure you are looking at a CDI unit as points ignition parts are becoming very hard to find.Stay in the 80,s and you will be fine.
