Reposition Honda 130hp side control unit

Hello all, I have a Honda 130 hp with a side mounted control unit. It is mounted too high and makes it difficult to shift. Does anyone know how difficult it is to reposition it lower. Is it just bolted on so that I could drill new holes and move it down a few inches? I just want to make sure that when I take it off there's not going to be a bunch of i.e. springs or other parts that are going to pop out and surprise me. I think the control cable is long enough.

Hi,
No problem for you to drill new three holes as per your requirement. No springs or stuffs will pop out when you remove the mounting bolts of the remote
