Nissan 70 HP - NS70A2 - Timing

Does anyone know the timing specs for a Nissan 70HP (Model NS70A2) timing specifications. We bought a repair manual online but it did not cover our model number.

I assume you do not have a Factory service manual. The information on the procedures, link and stop lengths to set the static timing values and carb sync, and well as the idle and WOT timing numbers (link and sync) are in the Factory service manual, available at a Tohatsu/Nissan dealer. Your aftermarket manual is better relegated for use as a doorstop or woodstove tinder.

There are several adjustments that need to be verified or adjusted, to complete the link and sync. I would definitely recommend getting a Factory service manual, as the procedure covers several pages of the manual, and must be done in sequence.
