I have a 92 StarCraft Pontoon with a 97 Honda 90 4stroke. Last week I removed the captains console to have it re-upholstered. I labeled all the wires very carefully and just yestereday I put everything back together (wiring, steering cable, throttle control, etc)
The cd player, horn, nav lights, etc are all working (just realized they are wired seperately to the battery). The trim works. However, anything related to me turning the key does not, such as the tach, trim gauge, voltage, etc that normally get power when the key is turned to on. If I try to start the motor nothing happens. If I press the choke nothing happens.
Could this be a problem of the motor not thinkin it is in neutral, as in a sensor on the motor? If so shouldn't the gauges still power on, even if the boat is not in neutral?
I'm so stumped, please help
