2002 Honda 225 Steering Problem

I'm having a problem with the steering on my Triton TR21. I'm not sure whether it has hydraulic steering as I'm not familiar with steering systems. How do I find out what I have? It only turns a bit when I turn the steering wheel. It works better turning right but left takes several complete turns of the wheel to move it just a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

In all likelyhood you have hydraulic steering and that will be evident by the cylinder bolted to the front of your engine.These systems can lose fluid over time or develop leaks.Either way you will need to purge that system and that will allieviate any air bubbles and detect any leaks,though those can sometimes be hard to find.
