Engine stops on idle no gas going through small pipe inside the carburetor. Last week local dealer sprayed the hole and unclugged it. Im having the same problem today I drained the gas inside the engine and found a lot of black fiber. Are the black fibers coming out of the hose? The engine is brand new and drove is for 2 hours last week without a problem. I installed a suzuki water/filter seperator.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure of the source of the fibers; I'd flush the entire fuel system.

A good carb cleaning requires a good soaking (not just a spray).

The water separator is a good idea.

The onboard filter should catch anything before the fuel pump.

Contaminated fuel (maybe with acetone?) could damage rubber and plastic, and cause the fuel system parts to disintegrate into the fuel stream. Such contamination could also damage (rupture) the onboard fuel filter, allowing junk into the carb.
