Tohatsu MFS25A Power Tilt and Trim

The seal went out around the hydraulic shaft on the tilt and trim assembly on my MFS25A. I need to use my boat this weekend, and I seriously doubt anyone can get the part to me that fast. The assembly is manufactured by Showa... has anyone repaired one of these, or know if a shop could repair it?

If not, is there a good way to lock the motor in place to keep it from slamming around when trailering or using reverse?

There is a 3-year warranty on these. If in warranty, a dealer can fix this for you at no charge.

You can use a prop to trailer without placing load on the transom clamp.
