The tilt mechanism makes a sound like a cow in labor when I try to raise the motor. I have got some fluid to top up the reservoir but would like to know if anyone has a neat trick to fill without spilling. The hole is pretty small and on a vertical face..
Also when I take the filler cap off it expells air. Is that just because it's short of fluid?

Hi,
You have to use the normal oil can used used by the mechanics which they use to lubricate the oil nipples. Then you fill them with Honda trim tilt fluid with the engine in tilted position then plug the cap.

Good luck

Hi dm,

I went to the boat today with a Fairy washing up liquid bottle, but it was too big for the hole. I am going to try a pretty big syringe I got for giving the dog some oral medicine next.
