30hp tohatsu fuel line issues

I have a two stroke 30hp tohatsu and I just replaced the fuel line and the primer bulb. Now I am having to continuously pump the primer bulb to keep the motor from shutting off from lack of fuel. I retightened all my clamps thinking it wasnt sealed off but this didnt help. Any ideas on what it could be? I rebuilt the fuel pump a month ago so it shouldnt be that and it didnt start acting up until I replaced the fuel line. thanks

Probably a bad check valve in your new prime bulb.
