Hey guys, I am buying an older honda 40 HP that seems like it's in pretty good shape. What are things that I need to look for? Does it have any internal "zincs" or anodes? It has been used in salt water for the last couple of years. How do you check compression on an outboard? I have a compression tester but don't know what numbers to look for. Do you just screw it in and motor it over with the starter? I was told to run "sea foam" through it, Can someone tell me about it. I was told to do it about once a year. Thanks.
