2003 Nissan Manual

Are there service manuals available for 2003 nissan/tohatsu motors available? I can't seem to find one anywhere (including this site). I bought a 2003 Nissan 18HP 4 stroke and I want to change the gear oil, water pump, adjust the shift linkage, etc. I've done an old Evinride once. Do you all think I could handle this one without the manual? I'm pretty good mechanically. I just don't have much outboard experience at all. Thanks.

Sounds like you're qualified to tackle the job. These units aren't that much different than the other brands. Any Tohatsu/Nissan dealer should be able to get a service manual for you. They can provide you with an impeller or WP kit, and any drain plugs or plug gaskets as well. You can look at and DL a parts catalog (with exploded diagrams) from the Guru's website at http://www.internetoutboards.com/PartsCatalogMenu.htm
