Hi, all,

I got the schematics from boats.net but can't quite see how to orient the wire tang at the end of the electric choke solenoid nor the small plastic channel it snaps into.

Should the plastic channel be oriented above or below the choke arm pivot bolt and then what would be the 'clock' orientation of the tang as viewed from the back of the engine?

Thanks, and since this is my first post, I'd like to thank all members for the great advice I read here on cleaning the gunk out of the carbs - went from barely sputtering to purring like a kitten.

That is a whole frustrating assembly that requirers a little patiance. That nylon retainer snaps in from the bottom but the real challege is getting that choke wire into the seat.Do'nt get mad at yourself. This one can be a little tricky.

Thanks, Hondon; You're right, it's a frustrating little task. I finally made a wire hook and pulled the nylon channel up til it snapped over the wire.
