hi new to the forum ,Im having problems with the tilt & trim i fitted engine to my boat and tested it ,which seem all ok,until i put it back in the water, as soon as the engine touch the water the engine tilted up on its own ,after that it all seem fine after a few hours i tried to tilt engine ,and herd just a click!:confused: just before that the tilt motor did start/stop

Then you have a short in your wiring. You have to test until you find out where that short is located.

hi thanks for your help i kind of thought that ,the problem is the manual tilt clip it wont allow me to lift the engine to check the wiring to the tilt motor, but thanks again bazza

Then you have to open the manual release valve so that you can tilt it.

If you open the release valve to drop the outboard, do so very slowly...as I recall it doesn't take much for it to come down quickly.....kinda like what happens with a hydraulic jack that is under pressure....
