Any of the over the counter Sierra or Teleflex or whatever marine cables work for the honda outboards? I find ones that say they fit the OMC/Johnson/evinrude?mercruiser?mercury group, but nothing for the honda? I would like to get this over the counter, but i guess i can wait if i have too.

Thanks.

Re: Honda BF 225 Control cables

Thanks again for the input. I ended up going to the dealer for the cable ends and he had some cables that were the "best that he had seen"-very flexible and corrosion resistant- *AND* half the price of the teleflex cables. Ended up spending $28/cable for 15 footers. They were Honda factory cables...how the hell does that make sense...? Anyways, they are in, shifting is clunky even with the idle down low. Probably going to take it in just to have everything gone through before i run out 50 miles and figure out what i didnt do right!!!!
Cheers
