2004 Honda 200hp....Should I let Dealer Service?

I'm in 92683 zip code, north orange county and new owner of a 2004 Honda 200hp.

Since this motor is new to me I need a checkup and annual service(I'm going to run Synthetic Oil). On this newer Honda motor is it more practical to take it to
a local Honda Marine Dealer?? ......I always try to avoid Dealerships on my autos, any recommendations for a good independent Honda Marine mechanic in my area?

The odds of correct service are pretty SLIM without a good dealer as and independent has no way to get the correct factory training
