US Boat Fans, to all of you!
I have an old Tohatsu 9.9D, 1998, bought last year.
I think I messed up with timing and throttle links.
Motor has a poor idling and poor acceleration and of course low speed.
Can anyone give me instruction how to adjust timing and throttle links.
One more problem, I have here in the far east of Russia, Sakhalin Island, I can't find here Tohatsu Repair Manual or as list a part of it for adjusting carb and timing. If, by any chance, someone has an electronic version of it of just required pages (pdf or any other files), please, e-mail it to me, I would really appreciate that.
I was in US last year, but you never know what future will bring to you.
Wish luck to all of you on US waters.
Vadim.

Tohatsu Guru, Thank you for a quick resons-
This company is more fare away from me than US, but I have tried to contact Tohatsu Dealers in Khabarovsk (1000 km from me) and they don't have repair manuals for sale. Let's wait if anybody from US can help me with my problem. I'm pretty slillfull in repairing 2-stroke bike engines but it's my first outboard and my approach is to learn as much as possible before carrying any major repair.
It looks, like you are a Real Guru in outboards. Read some of your posts, empressive.
All the best to you and your family.
Vadim.
