lower unit problem on nissan 30 hp please help

on the plate on the side of the motor it reads ns30a3-346b1(90309) this motor runs great but i just got a new boat its a long story but now i need to extend the motor shaft from short to long can anybody tell me what year this motor is and what parts i will need to extend the shaft and where i can get them used or new at a good price

You need:

1 long shaft drive shaft
1 long lower shift rod
1 long water tube
1 long leg housing
1 base gasket

Any Nissan or Tohatsu dealer can order you in the parts

With all the pieces you have to buy and the work involved it might be better to use the money and trade the motor for the proper size.this is an oportunity to upgrade to more power,electric start etc.
