Honda BF90A propeller shaft

I have a bent propeller shaft. What is involved in replacing it ie( special tools and other parts that have to be replaced). I just got this boat and have a repair manual on the way, but I am trying to get a jump on this issue.

Also, what are the risk of running with the bent shaft?

Sorry but I don't have any experience with this problem and my service manual isn't here with me. Can you describe the condition, ie, how do you know this is a bent shaft?

I can see the "wobble" in the end of the shaft. No doubt about it, it is bent. I have since dropped the lower unit (still can't get the shaft to slide out) and it is very milky. It had only been in the water 2 days (with new lube) so I am sure the outer seals also need to be replaced.

Thanks for the attempt. Gave up, lower unit is at the shop. #@#@$@%@#% boats
