Tohatsu M8A 8hp Short Shaft

I recently bought a Tohatsu M8A 8hp and am trying to find a owners manual or repair manual.<br />The serial # is 61946 and it's a short shaft outboard. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated as I don't even know what the oil to fuel ratio should be. Thanks, Stuart M

50:1 and there are no longer any parts available for that model engine.

Sorry, but no. They stopped making that engine in 1984.

Stuart M I have the identical to the M8A, B13B and I have both Service manual and parts list for your engine. Give me an e-mail account to send it for you. They are large files...<br />Glad to hear someone has the same engine with me.
