Hi,

I just bought an old Honda 7.5hp motor for my little boat.
I found out it will run nicely with my choke open. When i push the choke back in, it stops unless i give it full throttle (or at least at lot of throttle)

I don't have a manual or anthing, so don't know how toi adjust the carb. Any ideas or answers? (or a manual for sale?)

You need to run a good carb cleaner though it. Change the spark plugs and gap them. Two bolts hold the carb on and two screws get you into the float. Carefully clean it with carb cleaner. Make sure the float is operating properly. There is information on this forum in the FAQ's about decarbing the motor http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=36;t=000016.

Then make sure you run a good fuel conditioner through it every time you fill up. Also, if you haven't already use fresh fuel!

lee
