Just bought a 2006 Hewes with a 50hp Honda 2006 motor, love the boat but the Honda 50 is a bit underpowered for this boat. Are
there aftermarket cams, carb jetting kits etc. that I can purchase to pump the horse power up a bit.

Nothing worth discussing that I know of. Keep in mind that even if you were to find another 10% power (highly unlikely) you would have a net performance increase that would be barely detectable with the typical in the water butt meter dyno. Like MAYBE 1mph....

Best move would be to make sure you're propped correctly (turning max rpm at wide open throttle) - OR - make plans for a bigger engine. If going bigger, keep a close eye on the new engine's weight.

Here is how you increase hp on an outboard:
Unbolt your current outboard and controls
Sell outboard and controls for small pile of cash
Open wallet, add contents to pile of cash
Take larger pile of cash and get bigger motor with controls
Bolt on larger motor and controls
Go boating

Not much you can do to outboards for a reasonable cost for more power as they are already putting out high power per displacement

With under powered OB's ideal is to go for a prop maximization to pull wot revs near or at max wot rpm range factory stated. The only issue is that won't be able to carry full passengers as tech plate stated. Need a tach to maximize a prop in order to have more water fun..

Happy Boating
