I have owned this motor for several years now. It starts fairly easy with the pull rope. I want to add electric start to it.
It has a ring gear flywheel and bracket for the starter. If I add the electric start kit to it, will it also keep my battery charged?

For that must include a rectifier along the electric starter kit if it's not included in the kit..

There are two electric start kits available (one for P type, and one for F type -- P is remote, F is tiller). Both include the rectifier. Are you 100% sure that your photo is of the exact kit? If converting an F type, will also need an actuator and plate for the neutral switch.
