2002 nissan ns25c3 lower unit interchange

I have 2006 mercury sea pro me25ml. It is the same as a 2002 nissan/Tohatsu ns25c3. Trying to find a long shaft lower unit and was wondering what years would fit. I found a 30 hp nissan lower unit from a ns30a3. Will this lower unit fit?

Is it same as this pic ? Want to replace a Merc long shaft for a Nissan/Tohatsu long shaft lower leg, right ?

According to Parts Manual all 3 versions are same code.

Thanks Sea Rider I was concerned because the shift linkage bushing and seals are further down in the lower unit on the pre 1992 30 hp and all the part numbers are different for the lower unit

Before you buy, lower legs of 25C3 is same as of the 30A4 model which are the latter ones. Are you saying that 30A3 differs from 25C3/30A4 models ? If so, better ask Tohatsu if will match 100% don't want to throw money down the drain. Searched boatsdotnet under Tohatsu 2003 and under years and all 3 models match same lower leg code.

1989 Nissan ns30a3 lower unit is a direct fit for a 2006 mercury sea pro me25ml. It has some internal differences but bolts up and works.
