HONDA 200 LOW OIL ALARM

Hi Guys, I have a Honda 200 1987 approx. Audio alarm comes on after 5 mins? says low engine oil! but oil level is ok? motors had 16k spent on them recently according to Mandurah marina boat sales.is there a reset switch for this prob? Also the trim n tilt not working? Im hoping this is a lack of oil ?? Could this be the low oil alarm??? any info appreciated guys..

Grab a pry bar and apply a little upwards pressure to the pulley on the top of the crankshaft. If the crankshaft thrust bearing has failed it will throw a low oil pressure alarm and the crankshaft be loose and move up and down when you push on it. When is fails it usually takes the crank and block with it. This is usually caused by lack of maintenance or improper engine break-in.
