What year is my NS5B

Model 369-1 83845, I swear it's a 90s but the dang on head gasket replacement looks to be similar to 2000's. Now I'm all confused anyone know?

Year is irrelevant when servicing a Tohatsu outboard. A 5B is a 5B.

If you really want to know the year, go to the Nissan Marine website (nissanmarine.com) and choose the Contact page. There's an option there to request the model year. But like Paul says, year is not important. The same NS5B was made over a lot of years.

Thanks ya I agree, ns5b 2 strokes are all the same, only a ns5bs is different

The NS5B has the internal fuel tank. The NS5BS has an external fuel tank. Other than the various pieces & parts needed for internal vs. external tank, all other parts would be the same.
